EU AI Act: a compliance deadline worth knowing about
Article 4 of the EU AI Act has required since 2 February 2025 that any organization using AI — regardless of size, freelancers included — take measures to support its staff's AI literacy. Since the Digital Omnibus (Regulation (EU) 2026/1744, in force 27 July 2026) this is an obligation of means: the article states expressly that it does not require guaranteeing any specific level of AI literacy in any particular person. Documenting those measures is not required by the article, but it is the only thing you can show if anyone asks. If your company operates in Spain and wants to get ahead of this, our in-company training program (page in Spanish) is designed to leave you with exactly that documentation.

- Professional background in both Spain and the United States, including Grupo Mapfre (IBEX 35), where she led business development and strategic alliance initiatives
- Business degree from Universidad de Alcalá (Spain), with full scholarships at Rider University and the University of Oklahoma (US), followed by executive education — MBA, innovation and digital transformation programs
- Teacher of AI at the Universidad de Cantabria
- Bilingual, Spanish and English — comfortable running both consulting conversations and training programs in either language
Where we work
Based at the CDTUC (Centro de Desarrollo Tecnológico de la Universidad de Cantabria) in Santander — with both remote engagements and on-site travel available worldwide. Our international network of specialist collaborators is activated when a project genuinely calls for it.
